A young man on a homage to Adi’s villa reflects the ideology behind the adidas Originals x SPEZIAL range. A new generation inspired by the foundations of this sportswear institution,’ says Gary Aspden, creator of the adidas Originals x SPEZIAL range.

To celebrate the launch of the S/S 15 SPEZIAL collection, Nick Griffiths and &SON Films offer a short film about a fan’s journey to the birthplace of adidas. Their protagonist travels from Munich to the house where Adi Dassler once lived, a trip that mirrors Aspden’s own voyage into the adidas archives.

The film features an original score by Academy Award-winning composer Atticus Ross, who’s past projects include Gone Girl, The Social Network and The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.
