Alessa Summer 2014 Show | FFW Fashion Rio

For its 10th anniversary, Alessa created a collection from an array of fabrics such as floral lace, organza tweed, and silk. The collection took its inspiration from the looks of a safari as well as flora and fauna. The clothes, all beautiful, were also a great combination of functionality and practicality.

Summer 2013 Fashion Recap | FFW Fashion Rio

Fashion Rio Spring/Summer 2013 is where the Brazilian models come out to play and showoff their sexy (and small) swimsuits for shows like Triya Triya swimwear, which has a mix of neon hues and brown stripes which seem to work well when paired together in lines against the body. Agatha showcases a mint green 80s look with top model Aline Weber opening the show and later, Latin cowboys in the form of models taking the stage. Designer Lenny Neimeyer could be Rio’s most popular swimwear designer and that’s because she reinvents herself every year. This year, it’s all about colorful prints that almost look like comic book strips planted onto bathing suits.
