Today, we’ve been blown with the Mediterranean winds and arrive in Ravenna, Italy, hometown of FashionTV’s Model of the Week, Caterina Ravaglia.

Can’t Buy Beauty!

Italian beauty is raw and refined, and for 19-year-old Caterina, it is pathing her way to model stardom; walking on the world’s greatest catwalks and featuring in high fashion editorials.

She was discovered in 2009, winning the Elite Model Italy competition and has since walked for designers such as Vivienne Westwood, Maison Martin Margiela, DKNY and many more. Most recently the beautiful brunette was spotted at the Etam Fall 2014 lingerie show in Paris, hitting the catwalk with models such as Izabel Goulart, Magdalena Frackowiak, and others (scroll to watch).

Made In Italy

Caterina describes her fashion style as simple and sophisticated, (but it’s the quality that counts!) and she is proud to wear the Made In Italy label. What’s more, she has a rather unconventional style icon, at least for the ladies, American 50s actor, Paul Newman.

When she is not modelling, Caterina can be found dancing, paddle surfing (as the waves don’t get to big in Italy), or riding her Vespa!
