Missoni Fall/Winter 2015 Show, Milan Fashion Week

MILAN – FashionTV is at Milan Fashion Week for the Missoni Fall/Winter 2015 show. The collection entitled “Knit Me Up” is all about after dark and everything is jaquard explains designer Angela Missoni. Though we’re used to seeing the signature Missoni zigzag at fashion week, this season Trompe l’œil marble patterns ran along on the fabric like tattoos; “new space” tye-dyed patterns resembled television static and graphic wood-like patterns adorned the fabric for Fall/WInter 2015. These are the markings of the neo-body-conscious Missoni woman for next Winter.

Andrew Gn Fall/Winter 2015 Designer’s Inspiration, Paris Fashion Week

PARIS – FashionTV speaks to designer Andrew Gn about the inspiration behind his Fall/Winter 2015 Paris Fashion Week show. The collection tells the story of a noble but somewhat bohemian family that have lost their money and are trying to hold on to their property by living in faded state of splendour. The children go around the house looking for curtains and carpets, which they can use to make clothes for winter, reflected in skirts with fringing, brocade dresses and oversized embroidered coats that simulate faded tapestries. This sumptuous collection channels a bohemian and carefree energy.
