There’s a reason why it’s easy to fall in love with Georges Hobeika’s bridal gowns, and that’s because they’re completely exquisite. For Spring/Summer 2015, the Lebanese designer’s “Of Nature, Light and Savoir-Faire” collection comprised sensual silhouettes of luxurious crepe and silk chiffon on which pearls, sequins and crystals shone in a bright contrast.

With rippling embroidery, pleating in waves around the waist, Watteau backs mimicking waterfalls, whirlpools of tulle at the shoulders, plunging necklines, a swimsuit bodice with a and crystal-encrusted mermaid overlay, Zuhair Murad’s Spring/Summer 2015 Haute Couture collection was an evocation of water; echoed in the beautiful bridal gown.

Jean Paul Gaultier: An Unconventional Bride
This season for Jean Paul Gaultier Haute Couture, the focus of the entire collection was in fact the wedding. From bride and groom to the mother of the bride and eccentric wedding guests; the collection was original and creative true to the French designer’s signature style, while defying all conventions of the typical white wedding. Naomi Campbell was even dressed as a walking bouquet for the show!
CHANEL: Garden Bride
With nature prevailing as a dominant theme at the Haute Couture collections, CHANEL took it to the beauty extreme. This fairytale dress inspired by flora, was created in the Lemarié ateliers, delicately colored by occasional pops of pink. It took a dozen people over a month to assemble more than 3,000 components of the dress.
Jessica Minh Anh Front Row at Haute Couture Collections
Fashion-forward model and business entrepreneur Jessica Minh Anh stood out on the Paris Haute Couture front row, wearing exquisite designs by Zuhair Murad, Yumi Katsura, Tony Ward, Hoang Hai, and jewellery from Montblanc. Minh Anh is most famously recognised for transforming the world’s most iconic venues into breathtaking catwalks.
