After Superman, Batman and Spiderman comes FALCONMAN!

As the most glamorous event of the year knocks on our doors, FashionTV unveils its new mega-film project at Cannes Film Festival: “FALCONMAN, Wings of Desire.”

And the story goes like this: After Superman, Batman and Spiderman comes FALCONMAN!

The Superhero and his entourage of flying falcon force beauties and combat falcons travel the world on an adventure to resolve the most complicated and corrupt plots. His archenemy, is a power-hungry villain who wants to become the world’s most fashionable trillionaire; taking control of the world of fashion, football, and Formula 1. And only FALCONMAN can stop him!

The movie is action-packed with non-stop fights and entertainment in the air, on the castle grounds, grand prix circuits, football fields, and underground tunnels of Vienna; exposing the darkened underworld of corrupt sports betting, Jetset intrigues as well as a few love stories along the way.

FALCONMAN is created by President and Founder of FashionTV, Michel Adam, starring Gerard Depardieu, Omar Sharif,  Jean Claude van Damme, Maria Mogsolova, and the mysterious Falconman. Written by Tony Hickox – co-produced by Norbert Blecha of Terra Films Vienna and other partners.

A full range of merchandising products ranging from energy drinks to video games is set to be released alongside the film.

FALCONMAN will be promoted by FashionTV and released in theaters worldwide as well as FashionTV VOD platforms – in cooperation with YouTube.

Models WOW The Crowd At The Met Gala 2014, Model Tweets

As the ultra-glamorous Met Gala 2014 drew to an end on Monday night, we were busy following all the models’ beauty preparations and after-party antics. Though for some, like Kendall Jenner, it was a Met Gala debut, for others it was a reason to mingle with the stars at yet another glamorous affair.

With everyone from Victoria’s Secret models Karlie Kloss, Lily Aldridge, and Adriana Lima dressed in Oscar de la Renta, Michael Kors, and Givenchy; to Kate Upton arriving in a curve-enhancing Dolce & Gabbana dress; and Kendall Jenner taking to the red carpet in a pink Topshop gown; Cara Delevingne opted for an unconventional but ultra-sexy look, wearing a Stella McCartney trouser suit. But no matter what the models wore, they exuded beauty, glamor, and confidence both on- and off- the red carpet.

But if reporting from the red carpet, attending the most extravagant parties, and hosting our very own lineup of events isn’t enough excitement for the week; this year FashionTV is launching it’s very own Fashion Film Awards and YOU are invited to vote!

On Wednesday, May 21, we will be teaming up with the Berlin Fashion Film Festival (BfFF) to host a night that celebrates the best of fashion and the best of film, at the Majestic Barriere Hotel in Cannes, which will run in parallel with the 67th annual Festival de Cannes.

Nominated films include classics such as Baz Luhrmann’s famous Chanel No.5 commercial starring Nicole Kidman, Penelope Cruz’ directorial debut for Agent Provocateur, Lady Dior The Film starring Marion Cotillard and much more.

Turn down the heat, because things are about to get hot in here! This weekend, FashionTV celebrates the best of Brazilian Fashion Weeks Summer 2015 collections and invites you to join us on a tropical adventure across the equator.

It began in São Paulo and swiftly moved to Rio de Janeiro, when the South American giant and home to the world’s most beautiful supermodels, Brazil, played host to the first of the Summer 2015 fashion shows. And it was nothing but scorching hot!

Big events of the weeks included Gisele making her catwalk return at the Colcci São Paulo show, Kate Moss, Izabel Goulart and Ana Beatriz Barros owning the red carpet at the amfAR Inspiration Gala São Paulo, and Russian supermodel Irina Shayk hitting up the Triton catwalk.

While at Rio de Janeiro Fashion Week, the sister, more alternative week of the two; FashionTV caught up backstage at shows to include Coca Cola, Espaco, Auslander and more! In the heart of Austria’s capital, at FashionTV’s new luxurious cafe and bar, VIP guests, models, and friends turned out to join Michel Adam’s birthday celebration and 17 years of FashionTV at I Love F Cafe Vienna.

The President and owner of FashionTV was joined by his glamorous wife Maria Mogsolova, while models paraded the catwalk to the beats of guest DJ’s, and partygoers danced the night away.

This year, FashionTV celebrates 17 years as the world’s leading fashion channel and is proud to share with its fans and followers the best of fashion, luxury, and celebrity events around the globe. All month, FashionTV dedicated special programming to this magnificent milestone, looking back at the greatest moments from world fashion weeks, top brands, models, photographers, red carpet events and much much more!

Top 5 Spring 2015 Bridal Collections!

One of our favorite times of the year is right now, when the weather is getting warmer and the spring bridal collections hit the runways!

1. Carolina Herrera Bridal

A Carolina Herrera wedding gown is known for its perfect classic styling, and this collection is that and then some. This season’s Spring 2015 wedding dress line was filled with tons of layered tulle, embellished lace, and and gorgeous silk. Little surprises such as peplum panel skirts and laser-cut lace paired perfectly with Carolina’s signature ultra-feminine design.

2. Reem Acra Bridal

Reem Acra’s latest wedding dress collection “Mirror, Mirror” boasts a diversity of different fabrics from stretch satin to silk chiffon and layers of tulle. The stunning silhouettes included columns, traditional ball gowns, flattering fit-and-flares and a sweeping circular style in cascading chiffon. Known for her intricate embroideries, Acra also played with beautiful appliqués, re-embroidered lace and crystal and pearl embellishments.

3. Monique Lhuillier Bridal

The collection titled My Eternal Daydream was inspired by the works of painter John Singer Sargent, and featured an array of unexpected shades of blue, light green, and hydrangea. Gowns came in sophisticated silhouettes including A-line and mermaid for an all-out romantic feel.

4. Temperley London Bridal

Temperley London’s spring/summer 2015 “Iris” collection featured a series of classic Temperley bridal pieces, including a design that Alice Temperley, herself, chose to get married in 12 years ago. Temperley’s attention to detail and intricate work was evident in everything including embellished French lace dress with a dramatic full train.

5. Irina Shayk at Pronovias Barcelona First Love 2014 Bridal Collections

There’s just something so special about seeing the gowns on the runway, and who makes a more beautiful bride than Irina Shayk? Check out this show for the Pronovias 2014 show.

We pretty much love everything Cara Delevingne does, but in this video, we get to see Cara in a different, more grown-up way as she tells us all about her passion for acting. This black-and-white video not only shows off some of the behind-the-scenes footage but also reveals some of the models’ personalities with Malgosia Bela getting a tad racy (and we agree!), “when you choose your lingerie, you think about somebody who’s going to look at it, or take it off maybe, if the evening goes well.”
