The participation, as a world premiere, of the Mamaia Resort at WTM London 2014, turned into a successful event for Romania at the largest international tourism fair, visited every year by around 50,000 professionals and influential figures in the industry.

The interest of the visitors and exhibitors present in London in early November for the Romanian tourism attractions increased significantly due to the exceptional performance offered by the Mamaia Carnival.

„This year, we had a redcord edition of the fair in London, as far as Romanian was concerned. Our travel industry representatives have established many partnerships and managed to convinge the tour operators to consider Romania as a touristic destination. Besides promoting our traditions, this year  we had great spectacles at the Romanian stand. I am talking especially about the carnival of Fashion Luxury Events to promote the coast and the Mamaia Resort”, said Mirela Matichescu, Vice President of the National Authority for Tourism, thrilled by the substantial attention drew in London bye the Romanian pavilion.

The show positively impressed thanks to the sensational costumes, the exceptional dancers, the fashion shows, the gorgeous models and the stunning screenings of the attractions that welcome the tourists on the Romanian coast and especially in Mamaia.

 

The carnival characters introduced Mamaia at the World Travel Market London 2014

Mamaia rose to prominence as a touristic destination for entertainment , the most successful and spectacular parties and clubs. Between 3 – 6 November a sample of the captivating show that welcomes and greets tourists in Mamaia has reached London for the most important international fair dedicated to tourism: WTM London 2014.

Mamaia has provided an exceptional show in the capital of England, with spectacular carnival costumes, professional dancers , fashion shows and gorgeous Romanian models , but also video projections covering Romanian seaside images and touristic highlights.

Mamaia clubs have enjoyed a special promotion at the fair, through both leaflets created ​​by the Association for Tourism Promotion and Development Seaside – Danube Delta  which were distributed to the visitors, and through artistic moments whose protagonists were the carnival characters.

 

Mamaia Resort’s participation at WTM London comes to a close in full swing

Everybody in London got a taste of the Romanian hora dance thanks to the first participation of the Mamaia Resort at the WTM London 2014. This dance was the closing moment of four days during which the poster child of the Romanian seaside impressed London inside the majestic exibition hall that hosted at the beginning of November the entire global touristic industry.

The Romanian pavillion delivered the most successful show of the fair, as the visitors and participants from all over the world left with a special image of Mamaia resort.

London visitors especially appreciated the carnaval moments, the fashion shows and the captivating video projections of images from the resort, declaring themselves won over by the clubs, parties, beaches and the general feel of the place. 

 

World premiere for Romania: Mamaia Resort offered an original show at the WTM Festivals 2014

The electifying rhythms of A lu’ Mamaia and the exciting performance offered by the carnival characters were the greatest event of the impressive exhibition space of WTM London 2014.

The presence at WTM London 2014 was a world premiere for Mamaia, but also a challenge. WTM Festivals, a special section of the fair that encourages a more informal and unique promotions of the touristic destinations, offered this year to Mamaia Resort the opportunity to be noticed amond eight other fascinating destinations – Egypt, the Philippines, Belgium, the Caribbean, East and West Africa, Cyprus and Taiwan.

Mamaia Resort organised a unique show, with spectacular carvinal costumes, professional dancers, artistic moments and video screenings of the Romanian seaside attractions. Corina Martin, president of the Association for the Promotion and Development of the Tourism Seaside – Danube Delta, acted as a MC in the firts part of the event, a role in which she acted with great talent, including carnival accesories in her stage outfit, while the singer Axenia warmed up the crowd through a medley of traditional folklore music, followed by an interpretation of modern music rhythms.

The visitors were also impressed by the fashion shows presented by designers Daniel Racovizza and Cielle Couture by Cristina Trandafir, the Romanian pavilion becoming a space too small for the many guests present from around the world. 

 

Mamaia Resort delivered the most spectacular performance at WTM Festivals

From the very first participations of Mamaia Resort to the largest tourism fair in the world, WTM London 2014, the show offered by the beautiful Romanian seaside destination has made the best impression, surpassing the originality displayed by destinations such as the Caribbean, the Philippines or Egypt.

Mamaia Carnival went to London in early November, to promote the Romanian coast attractions thouroughout an electrifying performance that conquered even the most creative section of the fair, WTM Festivals, which encourages the promotion in a more informal and unique way.

The audience from around the world loved the performance offered by the Romania representatives, with spectacular carnival costumes, professional dancers, artistic moments, beautiful models and video screenings of the Romanian seaside.

The best party at the fair continued even after the show, when the crowd of visitors enjoyed dancing the Romanian hora. 

 

Mamaia Resort’s first participation at the world’s largest tourism fair

The largest tourism fair in the world gathers every year in London the most important professionals of the global tourism. WTM London means not only an impressive space in which events are staged in order to promote the most beautiful destinations around the world, but also an environment where business key players and personalities in the field meet and trace the future trends of the industry.

WTM London 2014, held in early November in the UK capital, marked a special date in the history of the fair – the 35th edition of this importand event which turns London, for afew days every year, into the pole of the global tourism industry. With an estimated 50,000 participants, the fair brought together about 5,000 exhibitors from over 180 countries. And this year marked a big premiere for our country, the Romanian pavilion attracting substantial attention thanks to the presence of Mamaia Resort.

The series of shows dedicated to Mamaia Resort were held in London from 3 to 6 November, and the program included the screening of the resorts’s official video presentation, fashion runways of well-known Romanian designers and unique moments in order to reflect those aspects that distinguish Mamaia on the map of the destinations worth visiting: events, clubs, parties, beaches.  

 

A successful partnership promotes Mamaia resort within the Romanian Tourism Fair

The Seaside- Danube Delta Tourism Promoting and Developing Association in collaboration with the Municipality of Constanta organized once again a series of events in order to promote the Mamaia resort.

Spectacular carnival costumes, professional dancers, video projection with the main Romanian seaside attractions, fashion shows and many other surprises made of Mamaia’s stand one of the most visited and attractive points at the Romexpo exhibition center.

The success of  Mamaia resort’s promotion events held within the Romanian Tourism Fair was due to the support of the Seaside- Danube Delta Association’s president, Corina Martin, who was personally involved in presenting the attractions offered on the Romanian coast.
