Cara Delevingne Opens Up About Kate Moss’ Icon Status

It’s finally arrived, Kate Moss for Topshop launches today! To celebrate the Spring/Summer 2014 collection, Topshop has teamed up with with digital storytellers NOWNESS for a series of short films dedicated to the supermodel, muse and designer.

With everyone from Cara Delevingne, Beth Ditto, and Vivienne Westwood opening up about the model’s influence on decades of fashion and her true British icon status, fashion fans have an unprecedented glimpse into the model’s world.

It was seven years ago that Moss launched her first collection with the highstreet brand, this collaboration is set to be a much updated and premium version.

“This collection is a bit more sophisticated,” she says speaking to Topshop. “Everything in the collection is something that I would definitely wear… I can’t wait to get my hands on it.”

“I was never really into fashion when I was younger,” says Delevingne. “But I knew who Kate Moss was, she was the face, the icon.”

“She’s got a big aura that draws you in,” says Dame Westwood. “Everytime she speaks to me I feel like we’re in a conspiracy!” “I think she’s one of the most stylish people that walks the Planet,” she continues.

Kate Moss was one of the star guests, naturally, to grace the Fall 2014/15 Topshop Unique show at London Fashion Week. Turn down the heat, because things are about to get hot in here! This weekend, FashionTV celebrates the best of Brazilian Fashion Weeks Summer 2015 collections and invites you to join us on a tropical adventure across the equator.

Sara Sampaio Can Make Any Summer Hot, FashionTV’s Model of the Week

Portuguese model Sara Sampaio is a face to remember. She is a Victoria’s Secret model, a Rookie for this year’s Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue and is the new face of Calzedonia’s Summer 2014 campaign. So what is it about Sara that has the world talking about her?

The exotic-eyed, olive-skinned beauty was discovered at the age of 16 after taking part in the Cabelos Pantene modelling competition and his since starred in campaigns for Blumarine, Armani Exchange, Chanel Beauty, Victoria’s Secret and more.

At the tender age of 22, she can boast having covered glossies to include Elle Portugal, Vogue Portugal (3 times), Elle Spain, GQ Portugal, Elle Russia, Elle Italia and others: an understated and impressive feat for the up-and-coming model.

But it was this year that the world woke up to her enchanted beauty, when she was cast as one of Sports Illustrated Rookies of the Year. “It’s such an iconic magazine, it was such a big deal to get called and be told I got the job, there aren’t even any words,” she says speaking to SI.

In the issue, Sara was teamed up with last week’s Model of the Week, GiGi Hadid, pictured posing together for a series of fun-loving shoots to include dancing in bikinis atop a convertible. What’s more, Sara is the first-ever Portuguese model to appear in the issue in it’s 50 years of history! Now, that’s what we call claim to fame.

Soccer star David Beckham runs through the streets of Beverly Hills in just his underwear in a this ad for fashion label H&M directed by filmmaker Guy Ritchie. We were there to get all the behind-the-scenes action, and we know you will love it as much as we do!

Elie Saab Fall/Winter 2013-14 “Strictly Decorative” Fashion Film

Elie Saab’s short film “Strictly Decorative” was produced backstage during the Autumn-Winter 2013-14 show. Decorative silhouettes take centre stage, paying homage to the power of elegance. Structured silhouettes with pointed collars and angular cuts are highlighted at the waist with thin leather belts, and accessorized with geometric-shaped clutches and oversized handbags.

Top 5 Spring 2015 Bridal Collections!

One of our favorite times of the year is right now, when the weather is getting warmer and the spring bridal collections hit the runways!

1. Carolina Herrera Bridal

A Carolina Herrera wedding gown is known for its perfect classic styling, and this collection is that and then some. This season’s Spring 2015 wedding dress line was filled with tons of layered tulle, embellished lace, and and gorgeous silk. Little surprises such as peplum panel skirts and laser-cut lace paired perfectly with Carolina’s signature ultra-feminine design.

2. Reem Acra Bridal

Reem Acra’s latest wedding dress collection “Mirror, Mirror” boasts a diversity of different fabrics from stretch satin to silk chiffon and layers of tulle. The stunning silhouettes included columns, traditional ball gowns, flattering fit-and-flares and a sweeping circular style in cascading chiffon. Known for her intricate embroideries, Acra also played with beautiful appliqués, re-embroidered lace and crystal and pearl embellishments.

3. Monique Lhuillier Bridal

The collection titled My Eternal Daydream was inspired by the works of painter John Singer Sargent, and featured an array of unexpected shades of blue, light green, and hydrangea. Gowns came in sophisticated silhouettes including A-line and mermaid for an all-out romantic feel.

4. Temperley London Bridal

Temperley London’s spring/summer 2015 “Iris” collection featured a series of classic Temperley bridal pieces, including a design that Alice Temperley, herself, chose to get married in 12 years ago. Temperley’s attention to detail and intricate work was evident in everything including embellished French lace dress with a dramatic full train.

5. Irina Shayk at Pronovias Barcelona First Love 2014 Bridal Collections
