Everybody Loves Burberry

There’s little doubt that Christopher Bailey has revolutionised Burberry since his coming to the brand; with his designs, youthful energy and trend-setting vision pushing the label to become one of the most loved, by celebrities, models and fashionistas alike.

About the Music

But Burberry is more than a brand, it is a lifestyle. Passionate about music, Bailey has designated an entire team to championing young musicians that he believes to be wildly talented. This has become a major feature of his recent collection shows with British singer-songwriters such as Paloma Faith, Tom Odell and Benjamin Clementine adding an original note to his shows.

Then for the campaigns!

Key British icons such as Sienna Miller, Cara Delevingne and Emma Watson have taken the spotlight in Burberry campaigns, which has helped to launch their modelling careers. But then there was ONE. Bailey decided to recruit mini-Beckham, by way of 12-year-old Romeo, to feature as the new star of the brand. In Spring/Summer 2013, Romeo featured in his first shoot for the iconic brand, and now, for the Holiday’s is the star of the show, which has already garnered over 8 million views on YouTube in less than a month!

„Record participation at the London fair, as far as Romania was concerned”, said Mirela Matichescu, vicepresident of ANT

The participation, as a world premiere, of the Mamaia Resort at WTM London 2014, turned into a successful event for Romania at the largest international tourism fair, visited every year by around 50,000 professionals and influential figures in the industry.

The interest of the visitors and exhibitors present in London in early November for the Romanian tourism attractions increased significantly due to the exceptional performance offered by the Mamaia Carnival.

„This year, we had a redcord edition of the fair in London, as far as Romanian was concerned. Our travel industry representatives have established many partnerships and managed to convinge the tour operators to consider Romania as a touristic destination. Besides promoting our traditions, this year  we had great spectacles at the Romanian stand. I am talking especially about the carnival of Fashion Luxury Events to promote the coast and the Mamaia Resort”, said Mirela Matichescu, Vice President of the National Authority for Tourism, thrilled by the substantial attention drew in London bye the Romanian pavilion.

The show positively impressed thanks to the sensational costumes, the exceptional dancers, the fashion shows, the gorgeous models and the stunning screenings of the attractions that welcome the tourists on the Romanian coast and especially in Mamaia.

The carnival characters introduced Mamaia at the World Travel Market London 2014

Mamaia rose to prominence as a touristic destination for entertainment , the most successful and spectacular parties and clubs. Between 3 – 6 November a sample of the captivating show that welcomes and greets tourists in Mamaia has reached London for the most important international fair dedicated to tourism: WTM London 2014.

Mamaia has provided an exceptional show in the capital of England, with spectacular carnival costumes, professional dancers , fashion shows and gorgeous Romanian models , but also video projections covering Romanian seaside images and touristic highlights.

Mamaia clubs have enjoyed a special promotion at the fair, through both leaflets created by the Association for Tourism Promotion and Development Seaside – Danube Delta  which were distributed to the visitors, and through artistic moments whose protagonists were the carnival characters.

Mamaia Resort’s participation at WTM London comes to a close in full swing

Everybody in London got a taste of the Romanian hora dance thanks to the first participation of the Mamaia Resort at the WTM London 2014. This dance was the closing moment of four days during which the poster child of the Romanian seaside impressed London inside the majestic exibition hall that hosted at the beginning of November the entire global touristic industry.

The electifying rhythms of A lu’ Mamaia and the exciting performance offered by the carnival characters were the greatest event of the impressive exhibition space of WTM London 2014.

The presence at WTM London 2014 was a world premiere for Mamaia, but also a challenge. WTM Festivals, a special section of the fair that encourages a more informal and unique promotions of the touristic destinations, offered this year to Mamaia Resort the opportunity to be noticed amond eight other fascinating destinations – Egypt, the Philippines, Belgium, the Caribbean, East and West Africa, Cyprus and Taiwan.

Mamaia Resort organised a unique show, with spectacular carvinal costumes, professional dancers, artistic moments and video screenings of the Romanian seaside attractions. Corina Martin, president of the Association for the Promotion and Development of the Tourism Seaside – Danube Delta, acted as a MC in the firts part of the event, a role in which she acted with great talent, including carnival accesories in her stage outfit, while the singer Axenia warmed up the crowd through a medley of traditional folklore music, followed by an interpretation of modern music rhythms.
