WATCH: The Victoria’s Secret Private Jet, The Angels Have Landed!

It was all aboard the Victoria’s Secret private jet yesterday, when 35 pink ladies, boarded their plane and headed to London.

Talk about the best plane ride ever! Heading from New York’s JFK airport to London Stansted, the Angels were ready with their pink boarding passes for the flight to the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, taking place tomorrow.

Of course, the flight was no casual affair, with the Angels lined up for a spectacular boarding photo shoot dressed in matching “Angel 14” sweaters, while bloggers such as The Blonde Salad were part of the privileged media allowed on board and share the interior of the Victoria’s Secret jet. Meanwhile the models tweeted and Instagrammed for much of the 8 hour flight, keeping us much entertained!

Precious Cargo

With Angels such as Doutzen Kroes and Adriana Lima each earning an estimated $9 million a year, Alessandra Ambrosio falling behind with a staggering $5 million and Karlie Kloss breaking at $3 million, according to Forbes Highest Paid Models 2014 list…this flight was full of precious cargo!

Why Cara Delevingne & Kendall Jenner Won’t Be Walking The Victoria’s Secret Show

Rumours have it, the world’s most talked about models, Cara and Kendall, have snubbed the world’s sexiest fashion show, but why?

Bigger than, greater than the Victoria’s Secret brand is… the one and only Karl Lagerfeld, who is said to have chosen the girls to walk at the Chanel Métiers d’Art show that will be held on the same day on December 2nd in Salzburg, Austria.

But Cara has walked for Victoria’s Secret for the last two shows. Speaking to FashionTV about the honor she says: “It’s such a compliment when you are a model to do VS. It’s the epitome of sexy, strong woman.”

How The Angels Spent Thanksgiving

Talk about double whammy, this year Victoria’s Secret is treating us to twice the glitz and glamour with not one, but two dazzling Fantasy Bras, which will be modeled by Angels Adriana Lima and Alessandra Ambrosio. The bras took a staggering 1.380 hours of craftsmanship and are dripping with nearly 10,000 carats of jewels!

The Line Up

She was a popular hit last year and now best friends with youngest Angel Karlie Kloss, so its little wonder that Taylor Swift is back for round two. Joining her on stage is Ed Sheeran, Ariana Grande and Hozier.

From New York to London, the Victoria’s Secret models have been proving their fashion week worth on the runways.

They’re beautiful, they’re glamorous and many of them started their modelling careers on the fashion week catwalks, so it only make sense that fashion week spring/summer collections would see the Victoria’s Secret models take to the hottest stages and front row positions.

This season, we have seen Jessica Hart and Adriana Lima looking almost unrecognisable at the Marc Jacobs Spring/Summer 2015 closing show; while Karlie Kloss rocked every show from Diane von Furstenburg to Jason Wu and Oscar de la Renta among many more; Lily Aldridge made her presence on the front row at Tory Burch and Ralph Lauren; and Alessandra Ambrosio looked tooty fruity on the Desigual stage in Milan.

Supermodel Adriana Lima was born on June 12, 1981.
Adriana was born in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil, which was one of the host cities for the 2014 World Cup.
Growing up, Adriana won many beauty pageants as a young girl, but still didn’t consider becoming a model.
In 1995, at the young age of 15, Adriana won first place in Ford Models’ “Supermodel of Brazil” competition and second place in the agency’s
“Supermodel of the World” competition in 1996.
In 1999, Adriana moved to New York City and signed with Elite Model Management.
Lima immediately became popular, appearing in multiple international editions of top magazine Vogue and Marie Claire.
That year, Adriana appeared for the first time in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.
Adriana has been in every Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show since, except one year she missed due to pregnancy.
She also walked runways for Vera Wang, Giorgio Armani, Valentino, and more top designers.
Adriana Lima became a Victoria’s Secret Angel in 2000.
Adriana also became a GUESS? girl that year.
In 2003, she became a spokesmodel for Maybelline, a role she continued for six years.
2003 was also Adriana’s first time opening the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.
The same year, ADriana appeared with Bob Dylan in the Victoria’s Secret campaign, “Angel in Venice”.
In 2005, Adriana appeared in the famous Pirelli Calendar for the first time.
Also in 2005, she made the list of Forbes’ World’s Best Paid Celebrities under 25 and Forbes’ Celeberity 100 list.
In April 2006, she graced the cover of GQ and it was the best-selling issue of the year.
Inside the issue, Adriana Lima, a devout Roman Catholic who attends mass every Sunday, told GQ she was saving sex for marriage.
Adriana is frequently ranked at the top of lists of the most sexy, hot and desirable women in the world by various publications.
Adriana Lima found love in late 2007 with Serbian NBA player Marko Jaric.
The couple became engaged in June 2008 after 9 months of dating. They married on Valentine’s Day 2009 in the US.
In 2008, the supermodel Adriana had a solo Super Bowl ad and it was the most-seen ad of the whole game, watched by 103.7 million.
She continued on to appear in many more television commericals internationally, at great benefit to the brands she represented.
Adriana Lima was chosen to wear the Victoria’s Secret Fantasy Bra for the 2010 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.
In 2013, she again appeared in the Pirelli Calendar, this time pregnant, become the first woman to ever be photographed pregnant for Pirelli.
Adriana Lima has two daughters under age 5 with Jaric.
Earlier this year, Lima and Jaric announced they are separating .
Adriana Lima has appeared on the covers of Harper’s Bazaar, ELLE, GQ, Arena, Vogue, V, and Esquire.
The supermodel is 178 cm tall with Brown hair and blue eyes.
Adriana Lima considers herself Afro-Brazilian. She is of Swiss, Japanese, African, and Native-American heritage.
